Adobe Photoshop, a popular image manipulation program, has been released in the Mac OS X version 10.4. Some users are reporting a problem with the Mac OS X version of the program. I’ve been using the 10-year old version of Photoshop since version 2. None of that is present in the new version, and so I am wondering how much work has been necessary to create such a radical product. Clearly, the changes in version 5 alone are enough to remove any advantage over the competition. Perhaps this is partly why the new version is so expensive.
