Perfect digital edition of the 2018 edition of the popular NES Adventure game, «Tetris Attack», with support for all modern smartphones and tablets.

After a successful Kickstarter campaign, we have reached the end of the road in taking «Tetris Attack» from a 4-page, hand-drawn, written and illustrated comic into a full blown app. To put it simply, we love the game, and have poured countless hours of work into it. We decided that it should be included as a digital edition of the «Tetris Attack» game in the Nintendo eShop, in addition to the physical copies in our Gamebook’s Library. We will soon have it available on all Nintendo eShop platforms, and we’ll post the download link here.

Let’s face it: when it comes to Tetris puzzles, the classics are still the best. There are few (if any) that can compete with the pacing, strategy, and mastery of Tetris Attack. What makes this version of the game extra special for us is that it will include a few exclusive additions to the formula.

First and foremost is the «Tetris Attack» theme. The dungeon is themed around a crumbling castle, and while it may not be as cool as the classic «Tetris» theme, it’s a neat idea and the detail is really good. We hope you like it!

Another exclusive item is what we call a «Extra Strain Game». In a classic «Tetris» game, as each piece falls, another piece of the falling pattern is revealed. This is done so that the players are constantly aware of what they must do in order to clear each stage. For «Tetris Attack», we have added a feature similar to «Extra Strain» where the falling pieces are overlaid, but they can now be expanded or contracted, depending on what direction the player is moving in. As you can see below, this can help to maximize the gameplay.

– You will need to use the control scheme to figure out the path you need to take to stay ahead of the game. You can use all of the controls, or just one or two.
—HOW TO PLAY—
– Start at Level 1, with a life of 1. You must pass a 3 star challenge with a single life to move on to the next level. However, this level will be more difficult than the previous one. You will get 3 stars if you pass the challenge.
– The goal is to escape from each level. You must use your brain to figure out the next step. In this game, a simple step in a level means a single snake or the game coming to your side of the screen. You can move either to the left, or right, no matter which one the game takes. You can jump as well.
– You can use one or two of the keys, or you can use a combination of buttons on the gamepad or a gamepad in tandem with keyboard.
—FEEDBACK—
– I love the way the game uses the keyboard with other controls. It does a great job of using all of the keys on your keyboard, and providing feedback to the user about key presses and to the game.
—PRESENTATION—
– The graphics on the game are beautiful. They are simple, yet elegant. I love how the character looks like a typical game character, yet is still simple and pleasant on the eyes.
– The character is animated and reacts when you press the directional keys. It’s a real joy to see the character do something different each time you press a key.
– The music is relaxing and there is plenty of ambient sound effects in the background. All of the sound effects sound useful, and provide a great sense of immersion.
– When the game starts, your life is 1. You are looking to get to the next level. You start out in the middle of the screen, with the goal to stay on the opposite side of the screen. It’s easy to follow along and you shouldn’t have any difficulty getting the hang of it.
– Once you understand the control scheme, you can pick up the game in a few moments.
– Whenever you press a key, the snake will react in real time. You will see animation, and hear the game react in real time. This allows you to learn a skill, and makes the game a lot more enjoyable.
