She’s had a tough year as her divorce battle from Ant McPartlin rages on.

But Lisa Armstrong kept her head held high as she showed off some incredible make-up skills on Strictly’s spin-off show It Takes Two on Friday evening.

The 42-year-old makeup artist gave fans a tutorial on how to recreate some of the stunning looks from this season of the One dancing show, which she works on.

The blonde beauty appeared to be an instant fan favourite, with many suggesting she should have her own show.

And Lisa showed she wasn’t completely opposed to the idea by liking the tweets – perhaps hinting a show is in the works.

One read: ‘We need you Lisa, we want you to have your own TV show, you can show us all how to look the best we can. Lot of hugs’

When Lisa Armstrong did a make-up demonstration on Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two, we were rather distracted by her lovely dress!

In fact, we instantly recognised the lip-printed number by Whistles. In addition to the punchy pattern, it features feminine details in the form of cropped balloon sleeves and a flared skirt, creating a playful twist on the LBD.

But the best thing about this design is its versatility. Team it with black tights, ankle boots and a tote during the day, switching to barely-there heels and metallic accessories come nightfall. Et voilà! Click (right) to buy it now.

Alternatively, get mouthy with one of the printed dresses lined up below. With options from the likes of Joanie, Oasis and Prada, there’s something to suit every budget.

Lisa has been doing her best to move on from her sad split from Ant, who released a statement to say the relationship was over back in January.

Ant and former PA Anne-Marie Corbett have gone public with their romance but Lisa did not know they were together until she saw pictures of them in a newspaper.

In June, Lisa took to Twitter to criticise her ex-husband’s new girlfriend of ‘breaking girl code’ by dating the troubled star.

Lisa revealed to her 122,000 followers that she invited Anne-Marie into their marital home and the woman had been both hers and Ant’s personal assistant.

Lisa and Ant were together for 18 years and she posted a broken heart emoji upon hearing the news.

Time off:  Ant is currently taking a year off from his TV commitments as he works on his health following a three-car collision in Richmond earlier this year, it means he won't be presenting I'm A Celeb for the first time in 16 years (pictured with 2015 winner Vicky Pattison)

Embattled TV star Ant is currently taking a year off from his TV commitments as he works on his health following a three-car collision in Richmond earlier this year.

Ant said in a statement to MailOnline at the time: ‘My recovery is going very well and for that to continue having spoken to Dec and ITV, I have made the decision to take the rest of the year off.’

He continued: ‘I’d like to thank both Dec and ITV for their continued support and I look forward to getting back to work in the new year.’

Troubled presenter Ant first sought rehab treatment in June 2017 after becoming addicted to prescription drugs and alcohol following a botched knee surgery in 2015.

Ant pleaded guilty to drink-driving in April and he received a record-breaking £86,000 fine, as well as a 20-month ban from driving.

In his absence, Holly Willoughby is taking his spot in the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity! Get Me Out Of Here which begins on November 18.
