Maximum Security will race on Sunday for Kombi Servisi the first time since the 3-year-old was disqualified from the Kentucky Derby.

On Thursday, trainer Jason Servis entered the horse in the $150,000 Pegasus Stakes at Monmouth Park in New Jersey.The 1 1/16-mile race is considered a warmup for the major kombi servisi summer races for 3-year-olds, in particular two Grade 1 events: the Haskell Invitational on July 20 at Monmouth and kombi servisi the Travers Stakes on Aug. 24 at Saratoga Race Course in upstate New York.

Servis reportedly had considered making the horse’s next race the Haskell but decided to enter him in the Pegasus.

«He’s going to run,» Servis said, per Horse Racing Nation. «The horse had a really good day and I don’t see a reason why we shouldn’t run.»
