Video shows the moment a beautician was killed alongside a pilot when their plane crashed into a high-voltage power cable during a pleasure flight in Turkey.
Burcu Saglam, 22, had boarded the single-engine jet from the town of Pamukova, near Istanbul, on Thursday – but within 15 minutes, the connection was lost.
Dramatic footage has since emerged of the plane bursting into flames after hitting a power cable, killing Saglam and pilot Hakan Koksal, 54.
The charred remains of the plane were found near a field in the municipality of Osmangazi, around 78 miles away from Pamukova, after workers at a nearby natural gas plant informed authorities about an object plunging from the sky.

Just minutes before the crash, Saglam, who ran a hair salon with her partner, had filmed herself enjoying the views from the cockpit of the plane.She had written ‘Bye’ in on online post before the crash.
Footage shows the plane taxiing on the runway moments before take-off.

The local mayor, Alinur Aktas, said one is believed to have died when the plane caught fire after the wing hit the overhead power line at the Ovaakca Natural Gas Cycle Power Plant.

Detectives are now investigating what caused the plane to fly into the 380,000-volt power line.
Local media reported that Burcu had told her parents that morning that she was leaving home in search of a job.
They were unaware she had boarded the flight until they were informed of her death by authorities in a phone call.
Burcu and Hakan have since been buried in different cemeteries in Bursa.Their autopsy reports are yet to be made public.
