Once you enter the “Lands Between,” you will encounter the Church and its priests. You will have to spend time in the “Lands Between” until the Church recognizes you as an Elden Lord, and then you can rule over the fate of the “Lands Between.”
In the “Lands Between,” you will encounter challenges, monsters, and other powerful beings, but you will also run into humans that have grown too evil or corrupt to return to the Alden Empire.

Your character gets sent to the “Lands Between” via an invasion led by the Alden Empire. The invasion has barely begun, and your evil deed continues to grow. You will have to survive in the “Lands Between,” and you will have to choose what you want to do with your own life.

  When reviewing the game, I can’t help but feel that we’re being a little too critical, yet really critical at the same time, and that’s because we’re seeking a little more out of the game.

  For starters, the current stat-driven premise of the game seems, well, tired. The game is straining for a revival. It’s evident because some of the battle methods are designed around bringing out different stats or traits of the weapons being used (or the person wielding the weapon), whether it be blocking or giving a catch bonus. The only problem is that the game itself is filled with an overabundance of stats and traits, including the length of certain attributes. A simple and very common example of this is that there are a couple of traits that greatly increase the damage dealt from some weapons.

  The problem is that it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. These weapons won’t give you that much of an advantage when you’d be trading off all of your defensive stats. For example, one weapon has a trait that increases accuracy, and another increases the damage dealt. The problem here is that the game is already lacking in variety, and now it’s starting to take away from the variety that we’re trying to find. If we find a weapon that gives us damage bonuses and the accuracy to hit more often, why would we also want to trade it out for a less damaging weapon that could potentially hit us more often? It just doesn’t really make sense.

  Another thing is that a lot of people online thought it was a series of side quests instead of a full-fledged MMO game. The game is set to let you play how you want and to play with other people, but one of the problems with the game is that it really takes advantage of your class choice. We originally saw it as a class-based RPG and we didn’t really think we were going to be able to change our class or choose to play as another class, but the game asks us to play as the class we chose for the most of the time. Because of this we found ourselves playing the same weapons and the same abilities to be able to change to what we want because the game is very set in your class.

  I thought the class progression was interesting, but it could’ve done with more time. Some classes end up in a dead-end and with no reason to play them once you have a good weapon. There are no classes that can change your combat
