A dark fantasy RPG game that combines intense gameplay with an innovative operating system. As a Tarnished Firstborn, you start off the game as a humble orphan selling ingredients to shopkeepers, and begin a journey in a colossal world with the goal of becoming a Tarnished Lord. As you play, you’ll meet different story characters, encounter enormous monsters, and partake in epic battle royales.

STORY

In the Lands Between, there are two large nations of people. One is a beautiful and peaceful nation of the Elden, who regulate their daily lives with the art of magic. The other nation is the Tarnished, a country that has seceded from the Elden, and presently is heading for a war. The Tarnished are notorious for their unspeakable methods, and are despised for their obsessive greed. In the middle of this conflict, we meet the protagonist, which has been separated from his origins and now lives in the Tarnished capital. When he meets a talking cat, he is given a task to clear the Tarnished land, and thus begins the journey to become a Tarnished Lord.

PERSONALISED CHARACTER DESIGN

In “Rise, Tarnished,” you can freely combine weapons, armor, and magic that you equip. The various skills that you acquire will allow you to develop your character according to your play style.

GameTakumi: «I was pleasantly surprised by Elden Ring’s action and RPG elements. The first few times you select a character from a choice of three classes, you may be a little confused as you adjust to the controls for each one. Once you’re familiar with the controls however, Elden Ring is easy to pick up and play and has a decent amount of content.

Each class has a different combat technique, and it’s up to you to decide if you want to be a tank, ranged, or magic specialist. All of the classes have limitations, so you’re not going to have a character that can do everything on their own. You can also spend skill points to unlock extra combat options. One of my favorite aspects of Elden Ring is the fact that your character will accumulate some additional actions from your time in-game. It’s a pretty easy way to upgrade your stats, which makes you feel more powerful over time.

There are several quests and side quests in addition to the main quest. The content is fairly well paced, and they aren’t too difficult, but I have to admit I didn’t complete them all. On the other hand, there’s a lot to do outside of the main quest, so you should definitely have at least two to three characters to explore and do quests with.

The battle system is pretty standard. With each enemy you defeat, you will pick up a weapon or magical stone. While you can continue to equip as many weapons as you want, you can’t carry a weapon or magical stone more than once. Once you equip the weapons, you can do a guard command to activate the guard bar, and then you

Basic Gameplay features

Enjoy a robust battle system that allows you to freely battle against enemies with a variety of skills. Command different abilities by pressing the corresponding buttons. The more advanced the level, the more skill points you can earn.

As you progress and unlock new skills, you will be able to follow the story’s twists and turns more easily.

Command Point system:

The command points needed for each action are collected as you defeat enemies.

A command point is given for every enemy killed by you, and when you use the action point for the first time. When you use an action point, it is consumed in that action and its points are restored on completion of the action. You can also earn command points by pressing the Button while walking around the action board. There are four types of action, including attacking, walking around, using a skill, and using items.

The amount of command points you receive differs depending on the action. The amount of command points awarded by killing an enemy depends on the type of enemy killed.

You can use up to 10 action points at once. When you reach the limit, your action is automatically cancelled. If you have insufficient command points to perform an action, you can earn more by spending silver.

The action points are used for the following actions:

→ Attack: You press the button to attack the enemy. The amount of command points required to attack a single enemy depends on the type of enemy. If the enemy dies, your command point is returned to you.

→ Walk around: You press the button to move around. The amount of command points required to move varies depending on the distance from the enemy. The command points required to move are deducted from the points you have.

→ Skill: You press the button to launch a skill. The amount of command points required to launch a skill varies depending on the skill. The command point required is deducted from your points.

→ Used Item: You press the button to use an item. The amount of command points required to use an item depends on the item. The command points required to use an item are deducted from your points.
