AVAudioPlayer and separate file with.caf file extension

I am working on an app that needs to play the sound in the background and I have everything working except playing a file with a.caf extension. It plays fine in the simulator but not on the device. I have tried running the app in the simulator with and without the Apple music app installed and it plays fine in both situations. I have also added the audio file to the iPhone resource folder and added it to the Linked Frameworks and Libraries.
Here is the code I am using to play the file:

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Thanks.
