To start a new file, choose File⇒New. At the bottom of the Get Started dialog box, you have three options:

Image/Camera: This is the default option. You see the main window of your choice, a preview of your image, and a cursor with a box indicating the rectangular selection area. If you select one of the tool options that appear, the cursor and selection window change to match.

Photo: If you see the window that looks like a camera in the Get Started dialog box, select the Photo option. The best way to edit photos in Elements is through layers.

With layers, you can add and move multiple layers of images and edit them all at once. This feature is particularly useful for pictures where you want to touch up some of the smaller details without editing the entire photo.

Undo/Redo

Everything in Photoshop Elements is undo-able, even layer edits and selections. However, the undo history is not as extensive as with Photoshop.

The Undo and Redo feature is basically a back button. It can be used multiple times to step backwards through your editing history.

Once you’ve made a mistake or made a mistake, you can use the Redo button to undo your action.

While the undoes are useful, there are very few limits to how many Undo/Redo buttons you can use. So if you want to repeatedly undo an action, you’ll need to undo and redo it several times to reach the point where you first made a mistake.

C – Program works but for the initial readFrom() file, what can be improved?

I am currently writing a class that reads a file, then does some calculations and returns a new file which is then written out to disk.
However, the program works, but for the first readFrom() file, the program seems to break down. This does not happen in the other files though, only on the first file.
I have been looking for the problem for a while, and tried a lot of different things. Also, I am a really new coder. Any tips would be helpful!
