All I can say is this, if you have Cakewalk Dimension Pro 15 for any reason, its going to take the painstaking effort of cleaning all traces of the program out of your PC. That is, cleaning the registry, cleaning out the program files, etc. The Dimension Pro 15 program has been so bad for so long, that I am still bewildered that finally after having used Dimension Pro, that it might actually be doing something right. Rather, it actually becomes a program I just cant stand and use, which means it will take a conscious effort and a bit of work to get it out of my system. This is after having spent 6 years in trying to find something to work with Dimension Pro, then finally finding out that Dimension Pro really should have never become a program, ever. If you are currently using Dimension Pro, I strongly suggest all the steps above.

To completely remove traces of Dimension Pro, do the following:

1) Run the Dimension Pro uninstaller. This is normally done by going to Start > Control Panel and clicking on Programs and Features (Windows Vista and Windows 7) or Add or Remove Programs (Windows XP). In Add or Remove Programs, select Dimension Pro and click on Uninstall.

2) After running the uninstaller, you will want to remove Dimension Pro’s registry keys by doing the following.

1) Create a new folder for Dimension Pro in your C:\ drive, so that you will not accidentally delete the program files if a program update installs a new version. (Call the new folder Dimensions)

2) Run the Dimension Pro 15 un installer. This is normally done by going to Start > Control Panel and clicking on Programs and Features (Windows Vista and Windows 7) or Add or Remove Programs (Windows XP). In Add or Remove Programs, select Dimension Pro and click on Uninstall.

3) Open an Explorer window and find the folder where the Dimension Pro 15 install file was located.

4) Copy the Dimensions folder to your disk. This is normally done by right clicking on the Dimension folder, and then clicking on Copy (as in copy the disk location).

5) Close all the Explorer windows.
6) Open Start and type in «cmd» and press the Enter key on your keyboard.

7) Type in the following directory command and press the Enter key on your keyboard:

cd «c:\WINDOWS\system32»

That seems odd because I did exactly what I did on my first Dimension Pro version (at least the only time I bought a version without the registration code being listed) and it works. So if you are having this trouble, try the above, and also try the registration code in your old Cakewalk Products page that you bought the software with.
Last but not least, allow me to apologize for having to spam this message so much. I know you are really trying to help me solve my Dimension Pro isnt-working-registration code problem, and I have been trawling the net, and some forums trying to work this out, but no luck. I’ve asked the question a number of times, but I will ask it again, so if anyone has this trouble, see above.
I have a new problem with registration code for Dimension Pro. Now, I have bought all of the Dimension Pro versions listed at my old Cakewalk site at Products.Cakewalk.com (which is all versions from 5.x and 9.x, and the 29.x versions) I have just installed all of them, and when I go to register, I get an error saying: The user name and password you entered are invalid.
I have tried even the user name & password from the Cakewalk account I bought this software with, that is, the user name & password that worked for the registration code, but never worked for any of the other plug-ins (that I can remember).
I am still wondering if its a 32 or 64 bit problem, or if my laptop has corrupted my plug-in list somehow. I never downloaded any of the newer versions of Dimension Pro, and I do not use the CWDN [changelog] on my old package. And I never have changed the files at the old Cakewalk site for the plug-ins I have bought. So Im pretty sure its a 32 or 64 bit problem, but I dont know how to correct it. I am not familiar with changing plug-in registration codes, but I need to for these dimension Pro versions I have bought in the past years.
