8 whether to clear Microsoft Corp’s proposed $69 billion acquisition of «Call of Duty» maker Activision Blizzard, according to a European Commission filing on Friday.

«The European Commission’s review of the deal is progressing in line with the expected regulatory schedule and process, and we remain confident that the acquisition will close in fiscal year 2023,» a Microsoft spokesperson said.

«I decide cases from a neutral posture. I evaluate the facts, and I interpret and apply the law to the facts of the case before me, without fear or favor, consistent with my judicial oath,» Jackson told the Senate Judiciary Committee during her March confirmation hearing.
