one of the main things im always recording after recording is my mix. sometimes you need to have the art department come in and record their vocal performance to add to your mix. you might be in a large suite of rooms and need to record a sound of something passing by in a room that is not in your mix. if you have a dolby digital file, you are able to compress these sources to use a main channel and then create a channel for that source of noise by simply replacing the file with that channel. this is how the digital compression work of dolby digital. this allows for large-scale cross platform work. old school recording engineers would just use the main/channel track and make their own mix where the dynamic range of the source was compressed to the same level as the main track. this is not a real dolby digital file, but its still valuable if you are working on an older movie from the 80s or 90s. if you need the overall quality and level of compression of a dolby digital file, then you can use your final mix as your main track and the source as your channel.

The decoder in the Video Editor is decoding to AC-3 so that it can
use Audio Effects, like Noise reduction, Bass.

On playback it translates to AC3 when sent out, this is the intended behavior. You have some options:

Do not use Audio effects
Disable AC3 decoding and use other encodings
Create a list of audio standards in the Audio tabs
Add the Audio tab to the Tools tab (and change the MP3 Encoder to «Auto»)

Getting the general object and not the specific object

I’m pretty new to coding and I’m having trouble trying to find an answer to this question, so if you have any pointers I’d be most obliged.
I have 3 divs on my webpage called id, title, and body. Each containing a set of shortcodes in different divs in each div. So far I have managed to get it to work by using a pre-set function that loops through each shortcode and outputs some HTML, and this works perfect. The problem comes when I have to add more shortcodes.
How can I get a general reference to all of these shortcodes so I can choose what I want to output?
