The rest of the models we’ve tested so far here in 2022 have all been top-performing models, and none of them has struggled to deliver maxed out download speeds throughout the entirety of the house. You’ll see more differentiation in the upload speeds, but for the most part, our top picks all perform pretty closely to one another in a real-world environment, which is a big reason why the least expensive of these top performers, the TP-Link Deco W7200, gadgetinku is our top pick overall.

Halo View fitness tracker: $45

There’s a growing market for out there, and Amazon is getting in on the action with it’s own line of Halo trackers. The Halo View isn’t quite as advanced as the or some of the pricier Halo Band, which doesn’t have a built-in display, for $40.

With Amazon’s growing selection of  and , it was only a matter of time before it started . The Omni series is the more advanced of the two Amazon models (you can also shop discounts on the more affordable Fire TV 4-Series), and features a microphone built directly into the TV along with Alexa compatibility for hands-free control. The smaller 43-inch model is also on sale for $330 right now. 

A very welcome new feature this year is the ‘supporter confidence’ section. Previous additions have seen your performance largely only measured by the club board’s demands, while supporters only had a vague background role with little influence.

It isn’t quite as fast as the AX6000 version of the Netgear Orbi listed above, but the Editors’ Choice Award-winning Asus ZenWiFi AX (model number XT8) came awfully close — and at $400 or less for a two-piece system, it’s a lot easier to afford.

That weaker range also undercuts the notion that the 6GHz band will improve mesh systems by serving as the backhaul band for the router and its satellites. With less range, you won’t be able to spread those satellites out quite as much throughout your home if you’re using the 6GHz band as the backhaul. That means you might need to buy an additional satellite to cover the space — and with Wi-Fi 6E, that’s an expensive proposition. Perhaps tellingly, the new Wi-Fi 6E mesh router from Netgear Orbi still uses a 5GHz band as the backhaul.

The Fire HD 10 Plus, originally released back in 2021, is still Amazon’s most advanced tablet on the market. It features a 10.1-inch full HD display,  and is equipped with 32GB of storage on the entry level model, 2MP front and rear facing cameras and and 4GB of RAM — twice that of the previous generation. And at 42% off, this ties that all-time lowest price we’ve seen. 

It isn’t a top performer or a value pick, but the Amplifi Alien is a great-looking Wi-Fi 6 mesh router that lets you create a VPN-style connection to your home network when you’re traveling, which is a nice, unique feature.

With multiple devices spread throughout your home, a mesh router is like a team of routers that can relay your wireless traffic back to the modem better than a traditional router, especially when you’re connecting at range. They’re especially good fits for large or multi-story homes where your Wi-Fi network has a lot of ground that it needs to cover, but they can help boost speeds at range in small- or medium-sized homes, too.
