if you download the original software and the cracked version is the only version you know of, then you may not know that you can use the cracked version to upgrade the plugin, as long as you have purchased the original software. for example, if you purchased waves mercury 5.0 you can use the cracked version to upgrade to waves mercury 5.1.

if you use software you should be paying for it. if you want to download a cracked version, so be it. just keep in mind its not an affordable solution. i would never pay for a developer to release a cracked version of a plugin. i would rather download the full version and pay for a subscription. keep in mind, its not just about the money, it’s about the value. if you use a plugin that doesnt have a demo and you want to try it, go to the website and download it. if you download a cracked version, you’re only getting half of the feature set and you’re missing out on the trial period. that’s why i’m against using cracked software, i didn’t want to download a cracked version of a plugin that i could have downloaded for free at any point in time. but if i do have to download a cracked plugin, it will be something that wont cost me anything in the future. it will be a quality product that i can actually use and i will have the trial period to test it out first.

i have been using freeware for quite a while now and i have never had any problems with them. i don’t understand why people are having such a hard time with downloading cracked plugins. all the plugins that were mentioned were listed as freeware. if you don’t want to download them, don’t download them. i have downloaded a few of them and they were completely free of bugs. you just have to open the file with a program that is not meant for the plugin and it will work with the plugin.

where do i start. the plugin is awful. the sound is muffled, not even right on my system, and i had to remove all the effects to get any clarity and tone. im a new user to pro tools in general, and was expecting that i would have to use the vst plugin format for the majority of my work. but that doesnt cut it with this garbage. i know its free, but it was free because they stole chris johnsons work, and theres no excuse for that, even if theres no money to pay someone to make it. i spent $550 dollars for this badness! and all it takes for you to now get in trouble is to download any free vst you want and use it! waves is the worst company i have ever had the displeasure to use. i do not even know why i use some, or at least didnt until i saw this thread. i dont know what was going on with waves last year, but my ssl reverb in particular seems to be acting up. maybe it is because im doing so much work with pitch shifting and eqing lately. with only a small percentage of the waves applications working, and since my previous attempts at patching the problems have failed and i dont have time for any more tries, i would be happy to start using another brand of plugins as a backup if their products would work right out of the box. i hate to use any products from the israeli enemy, because their software is just always made for some half-assed 1% hipster who is not going to give a shit about making music or sound for the rest of the 99% of the world. if i use any other company’s products, they get a free plug from me if it runs well. what a great system we are getting close to.. 5ec8ef588b
