An epic RPG in a new setting
The story is an absolute mess. It’s hard to follow the plot because they never explain how they
connect the different concepts, but each concept is presented in a rather abstract way. The dialogue
is awkward and the feeling of the characters is not present. The plot is very condensed in form and
extension. The main plot has a number of twists and is quite enjoyable, but it’s a bit difficult to
maintain focus and not get distracted by the many unexpected connections.

Very engaging gameplay
The graphics are very good for a fighting game in development. They are rather primitive at times, but
in general the graphics look good, and there are a good number of different characters.
The control scheme is easy to use, and the item management is intuitive.
There are not many graphic effects, but the music is engaging and some effects are good.

Mixed bag
In the beginning, I thought it would be interesting to experience the world of Ryzom through a
fighting game. I think there is a certain charm in the fighting game genre.
Unfortunately, this charm is not present in the Ryzom game. For example, fighting games have only
a few different weapons and attacks, but in Ryzom there are far too many. There are also a number of
very powerful special attacks, but they require tedious combinations that are quite hard to execute
accurately. The character development is rather inadequate for this type of game.

Poor utilization of the combat mechanic
There are some good elements in the combat mechanic and it has a certain charm.
There are well-rehearsed attacks, and the combos are easy to execute. These things give
the combat a certain charm, but there are no depth at all and the story is just poorly developed.
Even though you can fight a good number of different opponents and obtain all kinds of power-ups,
it feels very simplistic and repetitive.

These are the aspects that I like about the Ryzom game.
The fighting controls are quite good, and the controls are easy to learn.
There are only a few weapons and they are easy to see. All the special moves are easy to obtain,
and there are a great number of them.
The combat is so simple, but it’s very easy to execute.
In terms of the character design, the graphics are very good, and the music is engaging.
