Navigation System – Adding a navigation system to your car is a great accessory, especially if you easily get lost. For classic cars, you have two options. You can install an in-dash system, which is similar to a car DVD Player. Or you can purchase a hand-held unit. Hand-held units are great if your car doesn’t have a 12-volt electrical system. Garmin and TomTom offer a variety of GPS navigation options with rechargeable batteries.

Buying washing machine spare parts saves you money. Repair costs are less expensive than replacing the unit altogether. These parts are available in specialty shops online and in local stores.

If you trade-in your used car at a new car dealership representing a brand that offers competitive rates on used cars, this will be a positive for your trade-in value. The reality today is that manufacturers are offering very low APR’s for good credit customers on new car purchases. Sometimes, the difference between a new car costing 22 000$ with a 1.9% APR and a used car costing 15000 $ with a 6.9% APR is not enough to justify buying a used car. If the APR is high on used car, they are harder to sell and therefore your trade-in value is negatively affected.

With a piece of paper and tape measure in hand, measure the distance between all the bolts. Start from the center of the bolt, and measure across to the center of the opposite one. Keep a diagram on your paper and put down the measurements on the lines. Next, measure the distance to the bolt directly next to it. If you do the diagram to scale, you can punch the holes out and lay the diagram over the spare tires you’re shopping for.

The first place you should consider is your local auto wreckers or junkyard. You never know what hidden gem you may find amid the rubble. Often people will dispose of a vehicle without realizing the potential worth in it. Many would rather not invest the time and money necessary for the restoration of classic cars. That alone is a great way to get them to unload their classic on you. There is a good chance you will find an old car at the diamond buyers that has been left there due to age or missing parts. If restoration is what you plan, this can be a goldmine.

Get good grades: Car Insurance companies think that students in general are prone to drive rashly because they are yet learning to drive. In fact, 61% of young drivers admit to having risky driving habits like not wearing a seat-belt. When it comes to making decisions while driving, they seem to be more prone to be distracted and impulsive. However, if a particular student can show that he is responsible, then the insurance company can offer a discount in his car insurance. One of the best ways to prove that you are a careful driver is by maintaining good grades. Some insurance companies offer the «Good Student Discount» for students that have a GPA above a 3.0.

Does your supplier create, source, or stock aftermarket wear parts? After market product can be less costly than their OEM counterparts. Quality aftermarket parts usually perform to same standard or better as OEM wear parts. Check with your supplier to see if they have a selection of aftermarket wear parts.

Rinse the wheels and tires with the hose. Using a sponge, rag, or wheel detailing brushes scrub away the dirt and grime that are covering the wheels. DO NOT use the same sponge or rag that you will use to wash the rest of the car. If you were to use the same sponge, you may pick up contaminates from the wheels and those contaminates could easily scratch the paint on the body of the car.
