Roblox allows users to create their own games and play other games. In these games, users become the game characters or game world.
It all started in June 2004, when David M. Baszucki, a computer science student at Carnegie Mellon University, created a game called Ludus. It was a game that involved programming text-based characters to navigate through a maze. Once the player lost the game, the player had to input a string of text with coding for every object that controlled the progress of the game.[10]
On June 23, 2004, the first version of Ludus was released. The version was named «Ludus Alpha» and was for only Microsoft Windows.[11] However, on September 12, 2004, Ludus was released on GameTap, a platform for online games.[12] On September 25, 2005, Roblox was released on GameTap. When Roblox first released on GameTap, the game allowed users to create their own content without any programming. The first game created was a version of Snake called Slithers, which was created by the developer Ricpin. The first content that users created was the winter-themed Winterville, and the first game that was released after this was a version of the platformer Acorn in the City of Thieves. Both of these games were released on November 27, 2005.[13]
On March 16, 2006, the Spring update for Roblox was released. It was a major update that added multiplayer support and user interfaces to Ludus and many other games. With this update, Ludus players could now send friends or enemies messages through the system. The update also introduced new features and roles, including loot and resurrection. All new content, including a new item called an item capsule, was released on March 18, 2006.[14]
On August 29, 2006, a «Summer of Ludus» event was held. Ludus was put on hold to focus on the event. On November 1, 2006, Ludus was released with major improvements, such as two mouse buttons to control and move. Other features included a new item called the key code, which lets players connect to computers and even send messages to friends.[15]
On May 18, 2007, the Summer of Ludus event was released. It was a modified version of Ludus, but many new features were added. Most notable was the fact that the name Ludus was removed from the name and replaced with the name of the game. Also, it

A counterweight slows the robot’s movement so it can reach the can and grab it, returning it back to
where it came from.

To get started on the robot, we are going to use a servo from Hitec and six servos from Anetech.
Both of them should be easy to find on Amazon.

For the plastic body, we will use a white ABS plastic or PLA plastic for the body.
The servo actuator is 3mm thick so it’s important to plan for that when cutting.
The servo actuator is not designed for opening cans, but it will bend just enough to grab the can.
The servos are located at the front and back, but that may change with some of the additions that we will
make to the robot.

The servos are not likely to bend much, so the addition of a platform will help to spread the load
