For those who live near a car junkyard, this can be a cornucopia of auto parts. However, this can be quite time consuming, especially in large junkyards. You may have to search through hundreds of vehicles before finding the right part. It is also dirty work so wear old clothes. The advantage is the price. You can usually get the part you need at rock bottom prices and many junkyard owners will negotiate. Be sure to check out the part carefully as you can rarely return a non-working car part.

pick and pull If you are following a system with strategic profit targets, why would you second-guess the system and pull out your profits early? In a good trading system a profit target is there for a reason. Technical analysis will have shown that there is a good likelihood of the price reaching that target. This way you only enter a trade when you have the confident expectation of the price reaching a certain profit target. That profit target is defined before you even get into the trade. Of course as market conditions change your profit target may change too, however this will be done strategically and not just out of fear of losing any small profit you have made.

Take some bottled water with you. Those junkyards can get hot. It can also come in hand for washing your hands or parts off. Lots of those vehicles are there because they were wrecked in muddy conditions.
