Every state and town has at least a salvage yard where useful parts of dilapidated vehicles are salvaged for re-use. Most of the parts would be non-functional. But even the most dilapidated vehicles have a usable part either on the inside or on the outside.

Most junk yards that offer cash for car will pick up your vehicle for free, as it is in their financial interest to do so. If a salvage lot that pays cash for junk cars says that it must subtract a towing fee from the price of the vehicle, you should find another buyer that will tow the car for free.

If you are really serious about purchasing the car, ask to take the car to your mechanic. There, have the mechanic put the car on a lift and inspect it completely. It may cost as much as $100, but it will be money well spent. Also spend the few dollars it costs to run either a Carfax or Auto Check report. That will tell you the history of repairs and accidents on the car.

Kitchen base cabinets can be had for as little as $100 a piece, depending on width of the cabinets, number of doors, drawers, etc. If you plan to paint the cabinets, prowl the junk yard. I found a nice 30-inch, 2-door, cabinet base with a drawer the other week for ten dollars!

The best way is to do your research. Find out what kind of track record the company has. Look for customer reviews. Check to see if they have a reputable history. It is also helpful to know what other companies they have sold their Toyota parts to, if this information is available.

Once you have a list of trusted companies, always look to these places first for your Toyota parts. The question is, how do you find out if a company is legitimate? How do you know you are actually receiving Toyota OEM parts from them? The answer is not always easy, but there are some ways you can figure it out.

Simply stop junk, fried, spicy and oily food. I cannot stress further the importance of simple, nutritious, healthy food. Our body is made out of food we eat. We grow from a baby of few inches to a full-grown adult only through food we eat. Food is the raw material used to build our building that we call body. How can you expect a strong building to be built if you use inferior raw material from northwest auto parts?

The second reason to look at is, is that the parts you are getting are OEM parts, which means they will fit first time, every time. As they are original parts they have been designed by the manufacturer to fit and work perfectly. There are many auto wrecking yards around and are easily found in your local area’s.

OEM stands for «Original Equipment Manufacturer.» At a glance, this can be confusing, especially if you need riding mower parts from one brand name and yet find the OEM parts come from another «manufacturer.» When you understand that often the company that manufactures a piece of equipment and/or its parts is not the company under whose brand the equipment is sold, the meaning becomes clear.
