Jose Ramirez belted a two-run homer and Shane Bieber pitched into the eighth inning as the Cleveland Guardians opened the best-of-three American League wild-card series against the visiting Tampa Bay Rays with a 2-1 victory on Friday.

But the style isn’t just on the surface. It’s also the deeper point of the game. In order to progress through this bloodthirsty tournament, it’s not enough to simply knock off the bad guys — you have to knock them off with panache.

‘The ultimate goal was not to build the City Football Academy – it was to make that vision for youth development a reality. The cornerstone of the future is a vision for youth development and sustainability.’

‘We’ll make an assessment from [the CCTV] but, obviously, we’re on the back foot from the beginning because we didn’t have the initial complaint at the time it occurred, which would have been my preference,’ he said.

Oct 7 (Reuters) – Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is still going through the National Football League’s concussion protocol and is seeing outside specialists, head coach Mike McDaniel said on Friday.

He was cleared to return to the Buffalo game after being evaluated for a concussion by an unaffiliated neurotrauma consultant but his treatment has since put the NFL’s concussion protocol under scrutiny.

There are talks about it three dozen to collect in total, and all of them are actually playable. We have riffs on old classics like Pac-Man and Mr Driller and Missile Command. Just walk up to them, as the launderette-arcade’s proprietor-turned-patron, and start gaming.

The quartet – Gavin Bazunu, Sam Edozie, Romeo Lavia and Juan Larios – did not have a single top flight appearance between them but the quality emanating from Jason Wilcox’s youth set-up at City is such that they are increasingly being recognised as the gold standard.
