Ravenfield Beta 5 Mods

This mod aims to improve the overall look of Ravenfield. It includes many common things, such as weapon outlines, ammo drops, graphics improvements, improvement of the AI animation, improvements to the UI, a change to the font, and improvements to the basic mechanics of being an android in combat.

This mod was designed to provide a single server-based mod that would achieve: high selection, high accessibility, high fun, and compatibility with both some and all mods, while adding customizable tracks and customization tools. This mod introduces two major features, and should be the most dynamic mod released for Ravenfield to date. As an added bonus, the mod is designed to be compatible with the beta 4 mod.

This mod has two major goals: to introduce a new event type to Ravenfield, and to introduce a new type of player experience as well as introducing a new race for Ravenfield players to play as. The event in question is known as a lore event, and it is a very rare and unique experience on the battlefield. The lore event impacts the way battles play out, and is also designed to be impossible to defeat. Ravenfield lore events will be introduced via plotter plots. The plots can be created either by an admin, or by a modder. Modders can use the provided plotter templates to create their own plots. These plots can later be submitted to the modding forum for review. Players can complete these plots themselves or they can be created by a modder as well. Here we provide a means to generate custom lore events for all players.

Modding for the beta 4 update added a new unit, the scepter. It is a fantastically powerful technological unit with a total attack power of 800. In this mod, we wanted to make the scepter useful and interesting in fights.

The people making the mod, NueSB has made a third person mod that, when played, lets you switch to third person behind the people you’re attacking. It’s a pretty big mod, but it’s also very cool and fun to use once you get used to it. They also made a mod that gives everyone a mohawk. This mod will take over the /Ravenfield/WhitePhantom_WhitePhantom_store/WhitePhantom_WhitePhantom.txt file, where the default skin for the robot will be replaced with the skin/skin_action_effect.json file. For the object skins, there is no text file for the robots to alter. Instead, the robots will pickup the new textures from an attachment point directly upon respawning and applying the effect(s) to them. Think of it as an image you would attach to the Skin Pool in WorldRift 2. It will also have any other effects you want to make for the robots, such as damage, attack sounds, and various others. (read this section for a more complete list of things you can do with a mutator. (keep in mind that mutators are relatively hard to access in comparison to modders kits)
If you wish to build a mutator, simply download the Scripts\Attribute\Mutator.cs file to your Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Scripts folder. Be sure to leave out the mutator mod’s name in the Mutator string in it’s own folder. Once done, copy that file and the creature_template.json file into the Scripts folder in your Ravenfield folder (assuming you are playing an online version of the mod). Make sure to replace the creatures in the creatures_template.json with your new mutator’s creatures in the same format of the file. You’ll note that the mutators are broken down by attribute, and that each attribute has a corresponding shadow button that will create a mutator with an effect attached to the attribute. You can configure these mutators however you like by altering the Mutation array in the Attribute\Mutator.cs file.
