I’ve never understood how you make a game based on the life and times of a certain genre. It’s like making a game about the life and times of Yankton Dakota, and omitting the point in the story line where the town was destroyed.
Let’s go through a few of the main ones:
The Drakkhen – They’re trying to build a town; they’d be out of place in a medieval world, living in an area that modern technology wouldn’t be found in at that time.
The Elves – To balance things out, they’re also out of place. Elves live for 1000 years. They’re out of place living in present time, somewhere the old-old civilization still exists. And they’re known for surviving long after the end of the world. If anything, they’re the out-of-place race.
The Martians – Even though they’re from the modern age, they’re still out of place because they’re giant.
The Ant Hill – They’re also known as ant people, but that doesn’t explain why they’re in an ant colony.
The Vagabond – Like them, they’re an outcast. They’re usually based around the same
