let me preface this with saying i havent been able to test this mod at all. all i have is a developer for sw:bfe download link. however, when i checked out, it has some real serious issues. the first is the loss of the planet map completely, like the entire map is just gone. not to mention, it doesnt sort of load. when it does load, it only shows your current campaign, with no option to load the rest of the map. this is probably not much of a problem, but it might be in the long run. the game also doesnt seem to like text editing files, so there is no way to change the map names. none of the editing tools, even the game folder editor, work.

this mod takes map editing to the next level. this mod allows you to download and modify planet map data, vehicles, buildings, and even the levels. if you guys just want to mod a new map, it allows you to do that as well. for the stars sake, if you dont want to get all creeped out, you can change some of the audio channels to make it sound like you are in a rebel or imperial battle. for instance, if you change the rebel yell to the imperial battle cry, it will sound like you are in a battle against a rebel fleet. unfortunately, i havent been able to test this mod as well, so i am not sure if this works. i would love to see what people can come up with. all i know, is i gave up being a rebel and signed up with the empire.

the mod gives you 7 vehicles that are all created based off of the vehicles in the movie. one issue that you will run into is that all the vehicles are really easy to use. they have a high speed, a high acceleration, which is great, but they are all level 3 vehicles. im sure you guys probably already did this if you play the game, but those of you who have not will wish you could pick up the right vehicle for the mission. another issue is that all the vehicles just feel like they are very slow and they arent fast like you would expect. all the heavy weapons are made to last for a while. you can actually feel the vehicle shake from hitting the ground from weapons like the ion cannon or heavy mortar. and then they hardly use the shields. the vehicles that they do get to use are the light ones that could almost be considered support vehicles. they are just incredibly easy to use, and they serve as excellent scouts that cannot be easily shot down by artillery.
