How to call method on all widgets of a master layout in Qt

I want to remove/add widget of a master layout and that of any child layouts (including children of master layout) at the same time.
What I mean is that when I add/remove widget from master layout, it should affect (remove/add) all the master layout’s child widgets and then when I remove/add widget in master layout, it should remove/add them from its children (if it has any).
How do I do this in Qt?
