Connection Resume consists of client and server part. Client part is a set of software which will work behind the Connection Resume. Server is only a Proxy server which is in between the client & the final destination server. The server is configured only once. It «stitches» the connection between the client and the actual application server.
By default Connection Resume has bound all available network interfaces so that the only way to connect the application behind it is direct connection. However this behavior can be changed if required.
