once king akbar had an arranged marriage for his son and he was very excited to see the day of his marriage. the day of the wedding finally came and the king announced, i have seen and approved a bride for my son. the king then called for his son and asked him to choose between the girls. the king also asked the two girls to bow and go near his son. the king then said that whichever girl he chooses, he will keep as his own. the king then asked both girls to bow in front of the son and be his wife.

once, a king of a neighboring kingdom was deposed by a rival who wanted to take over the throne. in order to save his life, the king asked his minister to kidnap birbal. the minister went to birbal’s house to ask him to come to the king. birbal told him to take a pot full of diamonds and wait for him at the neighbouring kingdom. the minister went back and told the king. the king told his army to send birbal to his kingdom. birbal went to the neighbouring kingdom, but was captured by the army of the king. the king asked birbal why he came to take the diamonds of the neighbouring kingdom. birbal told him about the king of the neighbouring kingdom. the king started admiring birbal and asked him to marry his daughter. birbal told the king that he will marry his daughter, but he has one request. birbal requested that he be allowed to change the name of his kingdom to akbar’s kingdom. the king was delighted and allowed birbal to change the name of the kingdom.
