This is an action RPG. Although it has easy controls and action RPGs feel repetitive, this title is filled with hidden depth and challenge. As you explore and defeat various monsters, a lot of information will be revealed. Personally, I felt that the game was quite fun, and I enjoyed exploring, collecting items, and fighting monsters.

The game was divided into three systems: exploration, combat, and conversation. Exploration was a simple affair, but this process yielded the greatest amount of return. On my first play-through, I made my way through the game by simply exploring until I was allowed to select my quest items.

Once I started to collect items, I could freely explore and shop at any merchant in the game. Since items cannot be found in the same place twice, I was able to collect as much as I wanted and be rewarded immediately.

The various items, such as weapons, armor, and magic, can be freely combined. And when you are content, you can sell your items at the store. This allowed you to customize your characters in the most pleasing way possible.

Battles are a simple affair, as you select your character and then select an enemy to fight against. If you succeed in killing your enemy, you are rewarded with additional EXP. EXP is used to level up your characters, which is essential in order to learn new skills, buy items, or equip accessories.

There are plenty of skills and items. I was able to learn as many as I wanted and even develop a kind of “lighthearted” play style.

The game is pleasantly easy to play, but there are times where your strategic choices can become difficult. For example, magic can be used to attack enemies, and you must select your target before you decide whether to use magic or hand to hand. By using magic, you can combine various attacks, so you must plan ahead. Also, depending on the situation, you can use various items, but it is critical to think about them before you use them.
