Ah, those foolish dwarves. They don’t have a number of heroic lore figures, or a tragic backstory, and so they spend most of their time acting like the stereotypical hard-drinking, mining, vaguely Scottish dwarves of mythology. So it is nice that their story gets fleshed out a bit of extra in this quest — despite the fact that it requires you to go into (shudder) Blackrock Depths.

It’s stated that reminiscence depends on recognizable shapes. Video games, which require gamers to interpret quite a bit of information rapidly, have their own tricks to make the most of that.
