I’ve been working on a new RTS game for a while now. This is what I’ve been working on thus far.

The basic outline is that there are 5 races of aliens. The human race has been subjugated by the beginning of the 2nd Age, and the other 4 races were the result of the military campaigns waged by their ancient leaders. The 5 races work together to fight a unified enemy from the beginning of time, but only the human race actually knows about the «true» enemy.

I’ve been wanting to do something like this for a while, because 1) I’m a big fan of sci-fi and fantasy/fantasy and have always had an interest in history, and 2) this is another project outside of my comfort zone.

Now that I’ve started working on this, I’d love some feedback on it, and on how to make it better.

There are a few features in the game that I don’t really like, but I would like your feedback on what I should keep in the game.

Please keep the review short and to the point – this is a boardgame. A discussion will be fun, but if it’s too long and boring, people will be very quick to delete it.

Now, I will go over the features that I believe are important:

– You can either play the game in Multiplayer mode, or you can play locally and get to see your friends play. Multiplayer mode is designed to allow a maximum of 4 players.
– All player models/characters will be the same size – the races aren’t squashed, they just look bigger than the human race.
– Each player has one character – so it’s not like you have 100 characters on the board.
– All characters will play the same – you can be a human, a titan, a lycan, a lar, a shifter, a killer, or a member of other races.
– All races have their own starting positions and equipment, but eventually all races will be able to gather enough resources to become the ultimate of their race.
– There is a short tutorial in the beginning of the game, and you can start with a completely randomized board.
– There are four tiers of equipment/gear
– Each tier has 12 or 16 items in it, with an item cost in gold between 1-4
