hey, i installed the aardvark device on windows 10 using drivers v2.16, but the device manager shows this device status: windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. the driver may be corrupted or missing. (code 39)

any idea how to fix this
i have already tried uninstall and install and i got the same error everytime (code 39). (posted on 8/25/19)

hi, i have a really strange problem regarding the installation of the sp firmware for my board. for some reason the app does not see the device in the device manager, but it is in the list of devices in device manager -> usb. it is also shown in the usb properties. i can connect it to the pc with the winusb drivers, but when i try to do the firmware install using the sp flash tool it fails, saying that the device cannot be found. i tried installing the drivers using the msi installer and also using the mediatek preloader. the only difference i see is that the msi installer used the mediatek usb vcom driver, but the preloader didn’t. i also tried updating the driver version using the preloader, but that didn’t help either.

i have tried installing the sp firmware on my sm-g975vn 4g with the sp flash tool 2.1.0 using the drivers provided by mediatek, and it didn’t work. i tried also following the instructions in the link below, and it also didn’t work. i don’t know what to do now. i tried to install the firmware on the pc using the windows usb drivers provided by mediatek, and it didn’t work either. i did get a message saying that the driver is out of date. i tried to update the driver using the mediatek preloader tool, but that doesn’t help either. i tried changing the connection settings to mass storage, but that didn’t work either. i tried using a usb-a to usb-c cable, and that didn’t work either.

can anyone help me please? i’m really desperate. thanks in advance.
